AI-RAN Orchestration

In collaboration with Northeastern University, we leverage their AI and RAN reference system on a shared O-Cloud compute cluster to demonstrate dynamic allocation of cloud resources and continuous testing of AI and RAN workloads over the fronthaul interface using Keysight’s UE / O-RU Emulation solution. This solution also provides a framework for benchmarking performance and gaining insights into energy consumption across various O-RAN traffic models and AI / ML service usage profiles.

This demo features the Atlas Test Management Center, a new automation platform for all device acceptance testing. The platform leverages AI to optimize execution time through smart reordering, delegate preparation tasks to the tool, and predict and manage trade-offs under time constraints. Additionally, we highlight Keysight’s industry collaboration to develop and test AI / ML (machine learning) algorithms on the modem “in the device.”

This demo presents a novel receiver with an ML-based channel estimator for the uplink data channel. This approach significantly enhances throughput performance, increases system capacity, and reduces RU power consumption. Connected device security is critical for product go-to-market and regional access, which require certified products. In this demo, we demonstrate how to use Keysight’s embedded security testbench to analyze device cybersecurity defense mechanisms and test hardware attacks that hackers might use to break into products. The demo also illustrates how users can test security vulnerabilities in devices with mixed-signal chips on a PCB development board.

Industrial 5G and NTN

This demo shows how Keysight’s new nCore solution helps Siemens optimize connectivity. Siemens’ robots are LAN-connected to 5G routers, which link to the factory’s private network. The nCore solution enables passive monitoring to assess 5G connection quality within the routers without burdening the factory’s network.

We also show how to measure live non-terrestrial network (NTN) quality and manage interference. This use case includes an overview of NTN and terrestrial network spectrums, highlighting the coverage, capacity, and end-user QoE.

This demo shows how mobile network operators (MNOs) can prototype dynamic spectrum sharing (DSS) scenarios with high fidelity in hardware and software. By using custom channel models from real deployment scenarios, users can accurately predict network throughput. We also show how to use Keysight’s WaveJudge solution to simplify DSS visualization and analytics in both prototype and live networks. This capability is increasingly important as users explore the upper mid-band for FR3.

Discover advanced multiple-input, multiple-output (MIMO) signal generation and analysis from FR1 to FR3 in this showcase. This demo features Keysight’s portfolio of multi-channel vector signal generator (VSG) offering exceptional phase coherence, precise time base synchronization, and adjustable channel phase and delay. Witness how users can generate MIMO signal streams, capture these signals with a real-time oscilloscope and analyze them using Keysight’s comprehensive signal analysis software.

FR3 RFFE Characterization

FR3 RFFE Characterization

This demo highlights the new PNA-X Pro as a comprehensive FR3 RF Front End (RFFE) characterization system. The system features up to four internal direct digital synthesis (DDS) sources, facilitating measurements of complex devices such as I / Q modulators, differential amplifiers, and T / R modules. With its two internal combiners and noise receivers, the PNA-X Pro simplifies test setups and DUT re-connections, significantly reducing test time.

In this demo, we show how to use Keysight’s NTN design and modeling tools to create and visualize 3D satellite constellations from a given location on Earth, preview simulated KPIs, and seamlessly load the modeled scenario into Keysight’s UXM 5G network emulator. Our solution offers internal orbit emulation capabilities to test the performance of real NTN-enabled devices.

This demo showcases two key use cases in the latest advancements of Wi-Fi 7 test and analysis: ​

  • Benchmarking Wi-Fi 7 Access Point performance to evaluate enterprise use cases on the 6 GHz band at 320 MHz bandwidth by emulating 100s of high-throughput orthogonal frequency-division multiple access (OFDMA) clients.
  • Analyzing captured messages with the Keysight WaveJudge wireless analyzer provides Protocol and RF analysis to help users correlate issues in Wi-Fi® messages with RF correlation and analysis.

In this demo, we introduce the new Keysight Channel Studio RaySim RF ray tracing solution, which swiftly and precisely creates site-specific RF propagation across FR1, FR2, and FR3 environments for digital twin simulations and real device testing with emulation. The new solution empowers chipset, device, and network equipment manufacturers to accelerate the development of new and complex 5G and 6G technologies.

Digital Twins for 6G

This demo features a digital twin of a large-scale private network. The network model is created by importing a diverse set of data sources including ray-tracing models, LIDAR, telco configurations, open-source data, laboratory measurements, and live telemetry. The digital twin is calibrated through live measurement, then used to gain insights into the performance of the overall network and improvements that can be achieved from deploying new 6G candidate technologies.

We introduce ADS 2025, Keysight’s new EDA software featuring 3D Circuit-EM-Thermal multi-physics co-design. This tool offers automation with AI / ML, robust RF and millimeter-wave design validation, and supports wideband power amplifier techniques like nonlinear load pull. We also show how to link the PathWave System Design 2025 to ADS via the new RF System Explorer enabling 5G NTN systems design and AI / ML-based model training, along with RF-true phased array design for 5G and 6G.
