Highlights

The Keysight AE6090A MultiGBASE-T1 noise injection fixture provides reliable and convenient noise injection. A coupling mechanism is necessary to inject noise from the Keysight arbitrary waveform generator (AWG) into the automotive Ethernet multiGBASE-T1 link. The AWG, amplifier, and coupling circuit must collectively ensure that the noise levels meet the receiver's input noise specifications.

  • Validates the performance of automotive Ethernet receivers for 2.5G, 5G, and 10GBASE-T1 links, specific to MultiGBASE-T1 receiver testing.
  • Ensures accurate noise injection from the AWB into the Ethernet link.
  • Provides dependable and high-frequency connections with minimal signal loss for all subminiature version A (SMA) connectors.
  • Requires two AE6960A MDI heads (H-MTD to SMA) and two SMA (primary)-to-SMA (primary) adapters to connect to the H-MTD cable.

The MultiGBASE-T1 noise injection fixture provides a convenient method to couple noise generated by an AWG to your DUT, enabling you to integrate the necessary noise profiles into the channel. This fixture features a compact and durable automotive-grade housing with coax connectors.

The AE6090A fixture is necessary for automotive Ethernet 2.5 / 5 / 10GBASE-T1 receiver testing AE6920R software.
