Generate Savings, Not Heat
The Keysight RP7900 Series regenerative power supply provides both sourcing and electrical loading capabilities up to 30 kW. This bidirectional supply is ideal for testing energy storage and converters, unlike most electronic loads that convert energy to heat, potentially causing a temperature rise in a rack that can lead to measurement errors. A regenerative power supply safely returns the energy to the grid, eliminating additional costs to remove the excess heat.
You can save up to 25% when you purchase the Keysight Regenerative Power System multiple-unit bundles. Select your preferred Keysight RP7900A model and take advantage of discounts based on the number of units purchased, as outlined in the discount structure. Each bundle includes KeysightCare Assured First Year service and a one-year return to Keysight warranty. Elevate your experience further with the optional Keysight BV9200B software, which offers additional functionality at a discounted price.
The RP7970 and RP7980 Series offer photovoltaic simulation capability. Connectivity includes LAN (LXI Core), USB, and GPIB.

Seamlessly Source and Sink Current
The RP7900 Series regenerative power supply can operate in voltage or current priority. Voltage priority allows positive and negative current limits. The power supply can seamlessly change from sourcing current to sinking current. When testing energy storage systems, it is important to be able to switch between sourcing and sinking current.
