Testing PCIe® receiver compliance and interoperability requires a bit error ratio tester (BERT) with a pattern generator that can generate stressed PAM4 signals, as well as a high-bandwidth (>50 GHz) oscilloscope to calibrate the signals and equalizers. The solution also includes a 59 GHz UXR-Series oscilloscope for stress signal and equalizer calibration. Test automation and signal analysis software helps developers perform receiver tolerance tests on their devices reliably and repeatably to ensure receiver compliance to the PCI-SIG’s specifications.
